Summary of the 2012 changes to the Canadian Pension Plan rules. This will include reviewing the new penalties for receiving CPP prior to age 65 as well as premiums for deferring CPP until after age 65. We will also look at the mandatory contributions required for employees who have elected to receive CPP early and are continuing to receive pensionable earnings prior to age 65 and required elections to avoid CPP contributions after age 65.
